Here is a copy of εογπερ εηαϊητερ μαν, which I believe translates to Amazing Spider-man. Compared to a modern age comic, it is roughly the same width but not as tall. Plus, it is 84 pages long including the covers. It is full color throughout the comic. This particular issue contains three stories: Amazing Spider-man #258 and 259 in the front half, and Captain America Annual #5 in the back half. If you took off the cover, it would reveal a pretty cool Wolverine poster. The front cover is the cover art for ASM #258. After a little digging, I found a picture of the art used for the Wolverine poster. It is this same Wolvie but with "Marvel Comics" across the top.

This is the Dutch edition of Uncanny X-Men #220 and the first half of #221 (featuring the first full appearance of Mr. Sinister). It was published by Juniorpress. It is full color and 36 pages long, including the covers. There are no ads inside. The back cover has an advertisement for an Avengers comics. The size, compared to a modern American comic, is approximately the same in width but a bit shorter.

The first foreign comics that I ever bought were these two Rambo comics. I got them in January, 2015. They are Argentine in origin, but I believe I got them from Brazil. They were published to coincide with a line of Rambo toys manufactured by Jocsa. I'm a HUGE fan of David Morrell, the author of First Blood. I was excited to get these, as the American Rambo comics are mediocre at best. The art and color in these comics blew me away!! But the story just gets better!!! In March of 2015, David Morrell was having a book signing for his new book. I contacted a fellow foreign comic book collector who lived in the town that the signing was at. He was actually the one who first piqued my interest in collecting foreigns. He agreed to take my Rambos, plus a couple more first edition novels, and get Mr. Morrell to sign them. My friend also had a great idea!! He had Mr. Morrell sign "Del padre de Rambo" - From Rambo's father - on each of them!! These two comics are among my most treasured comics. As far as I can tell, these are all original comics from Argentina. These are the only two that I have found, but I know there are more issues out there. I hope to one day have them all. I've included a picture of the back cover, two pictures of interior pages and a photo from the signing.

Great books sargentnukes!!! As far as value, I don't believe there is a price guide of any sort for foreign comics ... yet. I've heard that there is someone working on one, but I have no idea who it is. And I don't know how extensive it is going to be. But for now, I'd suggest the FCC facebook group. There is a good core group of guys there that might be able to give you a good idea as far as value. HERE is a link to the page.

LOL!!! I was afraid you were going to say that!!! I'm glad you are trying out the forum!!! I'm hoping to get more and different people involved here, so don't be surprised if there are some changes in the next month. I'm hoping to implement a few things to draw in a larger number of active members. It'll take a few weeks yet, but by March I hope to have things in place.
